Black & White Owl

This Drawing took me roughly 20hrs. This was the largest and longest work I’ve done. I want to do larger drawings again in the future! Drawing helps relax my mind and it gives me a break from reality. While drawing this I learned how much detail there is in each feather. To the point of when I closed my eyes that’s all I could see!

Owls are interesting creatures, they can rotate their necks 270 degrees and their eyes are completely immobile, providing binocular vision which fully focuses on their prey and boosts depth perception. When you see an owl keep in mind that there are owls out there that are threatened at this point and may not be able to survive much longer.
